Self made or University made?

Self made people are constantly seeking recognition as there is no document like a degree to support them.

Recognition comes of its own accord if you have real merit. 

When it is a question of a specialisation like Engineering , Architecture and Medicine , one needs to have a good educational background to become successful...It is only artistes , businessmen and others who don't require much specialised knowledge in a particular field, can become successful through hard work and utilising their intelligence..

.  Even web development, web designining, Copy writing can be learnt without university education. It happened in my case and made me a professional.

Yes exactly , there are limitations as to how far one can educate oneself and it is very few people like yourself who can become a professional without a university education,for the vast majority to come up in life a sound university education is a must since it also makes you disciplined ..

Years ago a Major steel plant which was just coming up happened to see my works on environment through a friend. They invited me. They asked my professional qualifications. I said i have none. Though it was a PSU, they waived of the rule and offered me a post of Visualizer, it's the first of it's kind in any steel plants. Thus my interest and hobbies made me a professional without any formal education in art.

For many it is important to have a university degree to fulfil their ambitions and dreams..To give an example, there is a teacher in our school who is probably the best teacher in the school, the only snag is that he does not have a post graduates degree so he cannot teach pre university students..Now after 22 years of service he is taking evening classes to get a post graduates degree as an external student. So, a university is essential to almost all..

Having a university is OK. But a university degree limits the learning periphery. I'm  Science degree holder. It gave me a very good job. But I was never comfortable with it. Then I  rediscovered my self. I felt strongly that a well paid job is not everything. Then I started expanding my knowledge base by burning my midnight oil relentlessly . This paid me rich dividends.
