Great sad, I have read the post, its great one. Every child should have such one. Thanks for sharing such threads.

As I said in the intro of this thread, childhood is the best time to cultivate good habits. This in its turn leads to child's development. The child can learn self-reliance and the sense of achievement which go a long way when the child enters the stage of Manhood. Of course, it's possible only with the combined efforts of parents and teachers.

It is well known for years, the link is a good read.

Well known of course. There may be some members who are unaware of these important aspects. It's for them.

Yes... They should be taught each and all lessons of life when it is necessary. And yes best time to inject all these things is childhood. So better do it on proper time.

Why the best time to inject good habits in a child? Here's is the reason. It's easy to bend or shape a sapling than a fully grown up tree.

True.. After that it may be impossible or too hard to change them. So better provide good lessons to them on time.

That's what the thread says.  If one cannot learn in this stage never the child can learn good habits in its life time.

One can learn all good habits only in childhood. The elders have great responsibility to teach such habits not only in words but also by way of example. If parents rise late, they can't teach the virtue of early rising.

Parents have a major role in shaping the children. This can be done by setting an example. Because children are great imitators and quick learners. Parents should be the role models for their children.

Family environment since childhood and parental care have deeper and greater impacts on the way child becomes a man.

They say, there can't be a better university than the home and there can't be better teachers than the parents. This speaks for itself.

How to deal with failure is the vital thing which one should learn. People who don't learn it face problem in future.

That 'Failure is nothing but delayed Success' must be injected into the minds of children. There is no achiever who never faced a failure. Thomas Alva Edison faced several failures before hr invented Electric Bulb.

There is always two faced sword while dealing with children as in order to make them brave if they are left to face all uncertain circumstances, then they might fail and that could affect child psychology in long run.

Parenting is no less than a tight rope walk. Lot of discretion has to be used.
