This is indeed a rare collection of Laden's photos. 

Osama Bin Laden lived in some luxury with a number of wives. it was close to the pakistan military academy and there is no doubt that the Pak army and leadership knew about it. in fact they gave him the cover to stay there. Osama was a committed islamist who had his own view of the world. But the fact that he lived in relative luxury is a surprise.

Certainly it's a surprise which is why, it caught the attention of the Press.
