Congress cannot be an alternative to the pro corporate, anti worker, communal BJP. Prakash Karat opines that only Left dominance can give an alternative. This is true but the irony is that Left is virtually non existent in most part of countries. In the Hindi belt of Northern India and Western India, Left is hardly seen. Left has to do a lot to build and improve organization and mass support.
