Christians are undoubtedly very peaceful community. It is astonishing that their religious places in Delhi are being vandalized by miscreants.

While I agree that Christians are a peaceful people in India, but Christianity is full of horror stories at the brutal manner in which they converted Africans and Latin Americans into Christianity with help of pastors. It is a mytery as to why in India during British rule such tactics were not adopted?
I can't blame Christian missionaris for conversions. By and large, Muslims have not been converted. The Hindi dalits are maltreated and even considered untouchable. naturally they are appropriate material for conversion. As regards tribal in North East and other places, trhe saffron block wrongly treats them as Hindu. In fact, these tribal had no religion and certainly not Hindu before accepting Christianity. They were never Hindu but they had their own pecuiar notion of God, nature and philosophy distinct from Hindu. In fact, they were just clean slate before accepting Christianity. They were ueducated, illiterate and ignorant. It goes to credit of Christian issionaries that they ventured to enter even interior places in North East and other remote places and provided quality education and health services. In the civilizing mission, the tribal were introduced to Christianity. Hence Christianity is the first and original religion of tribal and they are certainl not convert from Hindu which they never were.
I have no doubt whatsoever Christians are the most peaceful people NOW in the world but not as peaceful as Hindus and certainly Christians started it all with taking the processions to other countries and started conversions.
As far Muslims not converted, they are the newest in the field and intend to convert everything in their own ways.
I did not like the concept of conversion from Hindu to christian without their wish. God is everywhere so we can worship any time from any where. Some Hindus who tell that by visiting the temple will get benefits is not visiting the temples at least weekly once but Christians mostly never miss the chance of going to Church on every Sunday to worship their lord.
Nay one may worship any deity or pray in any way he likes. For this he has not even to say whether he belongs to some organized religion. But religious community is not just a matter of philosophy or worship. This is more an expanded family with distinct rules of inheritance, marriage and customs. India consists of many comunities. We need to live in harmony and peace and respect diversity of religious practices, community, race etc.
