Wear rings and get suspended.

A U.P. government oficial has been suspended for the misconduct of wearing eight rings. No doubt, it is funny and very bad to wear rings especially when on duty. But wearing rings by itself cannot be a basis for the assumption that the official is corrupt. The order of suspension is certainly arbitrary.

Never heard that wearing rings can lead to suspension, also it is not mentioned if the rings were diamond/precious rings which led the education minister to conclude that the officer wearing rings is corrupt.

I am sure there is more to it than just wearing rings....According to the report the decision is an outcome of everything , the absence of the teaching staff and salary issues which probably led to this decision...
