Can introverts be leaders?

:( :( Normally, it is felt that extroverts are bettr leaders. The intoverts are shy type and limitd to self. So how they can lead. But introverts have also some merits like bing good listener. They also succeed in various ways.

I don't agree that only extroverts can become leaders and all introverts are good listeners. There are some extroverts who don't have the adequate knowledge but because they are extroverts..they keep talking and showing off for no reason.

Even in this article it is mentioned that introverts too can become good leaders..I agree.

Extroverts think a lot about Pros and cons about everything. Their decision making may be delayed. This may effect their leadership qualities.

A leader needs to be communicative and also be visible to make any impact on his followers, otherwise he may not have a mass following and introverts do not have these skills since they prefer not to be the center of attraction anywhere in a crowd.I personally feel that it is basically these qualities possessed by extroverts that make them leaders ..

Bill Gates successful in entrepreneurship, which needs to manager internal organisation, where as in politics, entire realm depends upon full expression, in politics there is hardly any successfule xample.

Introverts are shy and self effacing. They are low in self esteem And they are mostly skeptic in nature. Such people cannot be Team players. Whereas extroverts are outgoing and forthright. Such people can make good leaders.

By no stretch of imagination, can an introvert ever become a leader.  All political leaders, who are good speakers, are good extroverts too.  A good leader also needs good followers.  And followers will flock to any leader, who is able to communicate to them, give them new ideas, undertake creativity and innovation and make things happen.

Throughout history, every single leader who has been successful, has also been very good at each of the aforesaid qualities.
