As far as i'm concerned there is no confusion. Gulshan stated it very clearly. "Quit gracefully" If you want to go ahead please go ahead.
I think enough has been said about quitting gracefully if we must. I am of the same opinion and four times I quit in my 30+ years corporate career I always did it gracefully.
