India is a Hindu nation as it was the theme song sung by all party leaders at the time of division of this country based on religion but later our leaders saw the opportunity of vote bank and rest is history. However the country is Hindu country even if every body has right to live in here as its citizens.

Since Goa is attracted by foreigners did he think it is a foreign country. Goa is in India. Unity in diversity is our concept. Every body who lives in India is an Indian, including the Goa minister.

Mangalore has a huge Christian population and unless it is a love marriage, all their marriages are conducted exactly like HIndus where they see the caste of the groom or bride (based on the time of conversion during their forefathers time ) and never encourage inter caste marriages, so is the case among Goan Catholics too in fact all along Konkan coast where majority of Indian Catholics live ,,

When there is mass conversion from a religion to another, some traditions of the previous religion still continue. Thus a Christian Hindu is one who still adheres to caste system. But if some one truly follows Christianity and distances himself from caste or other similar traditios, he is true Christian. Acordingly, the Goa leader has admitted he is not true Christian. But I wonder whther he will agree with this meaning of 'Hindu Christian. .

He did not say he is not a true christian , the media and you are aauming that, he has only stated facts as they are ...In fact most of my christian friends and even muslim friends readily agree that their life is steeped in Hindu traditions and these are facts one cannot run away from, Congress of course likes to brianwash the minorities trying to alienate them and the majority Hindus, also bring in divide between religions. I am sure people dont even care what religion who belongs to, unless harmony of the nation is at stake due to terrorist activities. Even then you cannot blame an entire community since fundamentalists are there in every religious group...
