How many of you think that self-defense (karate etc) should become a mandatory part of education, right from elementary schools , because I think this is the only way to somewhat deal with rising no.of crime cases against women. Agreed that kids of smaller age cannot fight back but they should be taught techniques to deal with such heinous crimes? When police or anybody else cannot safe guard us or provide protection, we should take it up by ourselves. What say?

Yes so true. What I remember about her was that she was never too harsh or insulting. She always made it a point not to make any personal comments for any student in front of the whole class. We really need more teachers like her.

The fact that you are talking about your childhood teacher even after many years speaks volumes about that teacher who epitomized commitment and dedication. That clan is needed very badly in the present scenario
