War spares no one, not even innocent little children! But the airspace above the area where it crashed had been declared as a no-fly zone previously since the civil war started in Ukraine, so why was the plane flying from there? Other airlines are still flying from that area!

I didn't know that.. In fact I have heard that some Indian plane was also flying nearby from it.. If it is non flying zone then yes, why they are allowed.. Strange!!!

Close on the heels of the Malaysian Airlines MH370 disappeared mysteriously, yesterday another flight MH17 was shot down by a missile at the Ukrainian border. It was a confirmed terrorist attack. The conversation between the terrorists was traced. It's said, the attack was aimed at Putin's flight, which was closely following the MH 17. MH 17 was probably mis targeted.

There are so many issues here...How can a passenger plane be shot even if it accidentally srays into a different country unless it is a war situation. This also goes to show how unsafe some parts of the world are . Terrorism seems to have spread all over the globe and is the worst menace for human beings now..

Terrorism is the biggest challenge standing before all the governments. As of now there is no hope of containing terrorism. It's the truth that all governments of the world should learn to live with it.

Apparently our own AirIndia flight from Birmijgham to Delhi was just 25 kms behind the Malyasian airlines Boeing that was shot down yesterday ..

Yes AI flight had a narrow escape. The missile was aimed at Putin's flight. It was wrongly aimed and Malaysian flight has become a victim.

In the process a civilian plane went down killing 295 persons including a flight steward of Indian origin, who had changed his duty with another steward. It is stated that his wife was to be on duty on the earlier Malaysian flight which is still untraced and had changed her duty with another colleague and was saved in the process. But today her husband was unlucky. Sad

Yes very sad. It is now being talked that Malaysian Airline itself may go under as its reputation has taken a beating and also loss of two big planes in a few months gap will also be difficult to absorb.

Yes, it has been a a major setback for the Malaysian Airlines, poor guys are so jinxed! :( :blink: It is going to take a hell lot of hard work to recover from it, but the human losses are going to unforgettable and scarred forever!
