Annoying Habits

Not only in movie theatres but while watching skits and plays people don't think that it necessary to put their cell phones on vibration.

You are watching a movie and at an interesting moment, a mobile rings loudly and is answered equally loudly by a member in the audience. It is very disturbing and also annoying.

And it will not stop there. After answering the mobile, he turns towards you he will start lecturing about how the movie standards of today are declining day by day to the chagrin of all who are immersed in seeing the movie.

That reminds of an incident that happened a few years back when VCRs were just coming into the market. I was a stdent and had gone to see a movie on VCR at a relative's house > The movie was a suspense mystery Teersri Manzil whree you come to know who the killer is right at the end. As we were 20 minutes into the film an elderly relative walked in and annonced who the killer was to everyone watching the film ! This is something that happens in the movie theater as well, someone who has already seen the film wants to show off his/her knowledge :dry:

Yes. you are right. Their useless and annoying habits dampen your spirit and the whole pleasure of seeing the movie simply melts away making you grit your teeth with anger.

I have always wondered why the lead singer of the marriage musical bands have the worst voice. They will murder a popular song at the top of their voice with a thousands of watt band at all odd hours. A friend of mine once went to complain at the loud music coming from a marriage plot. When he entered the plot he found there was silence - all the speakers were facing away from the plot and disturbing the public outside. So much for concern for others.

They derive pleasure at the cost of our torture. What a sadistic pleasure.

I find people who jump into conclusion without even hearing you out properly very annoying. I find them to be very impatient and judgmental.

Actually very few people listen..all they do is hear..you know what i mean..they don't pay attention and jump to conclusion. I have faced such situations in my work place. It then becomes difficult to go on and explain that their understanding is incorrect.

Yes true. They like to disrupt your conversation and actually they have this preconceived notion that "they know everything".

Another annoying habit is of people who part their vehicles like scooters or cars anywhere and everywhere like in front of shops or major entrances. If you ask them they would say " I won't take much time' or actually they don't care about the mess and inconvenience they are creating for others.

Actually in my son's school I have seen parents who irrespective of the continuous warnings and appeal from the school authority continue to park their cars just in front of the school gates and drop their children. I don't know why can't their children walk a few steps into the school.

I dont know if many would agreee with this - But making amess of the entire neighborhood when there is a function at someones home really makes me mad. We have a MLC living on our road and when his daughter got married they blocked the entire road on which all the people have to drive and use for their daily conveyance and put up a shamiana and chairs on the road for 3 days and left the entire road in a mess with banana plants, mango leaves plastic etc etc ..I have seen this happening even in Bangalore , where the road is closed without having any consideration for other people!

I agree..this can be very annoying and inconvenient too. And it is even more annoying when such people put on loud music all day long.

Coming to think of annoying behaviors, there are some people who are always on the look out to pass some sarcastic comment on you, even when you are being nice to them. I guess some people are born that way. These kind of people remark on any and everything you do or you don't do.

Space invaders inside office cubicle is most annoying and single most distracting factor for me. :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

Space invasion especially the space of yours in the office when you are out for a few minutes for a coffee break is certainly annoying. especially , even after seeing you won't get up from your seat and offer your seat. I deal with them just with a flick of my fingers indicating towards the exit.

I dont know if many would agreee with this - But making amess of the entire neighborhood when there is a function at someones home really makes me mad. We have a MLC living on our road and when his daughter got married they blocked the entire road on which all the people have to drive and use for their daily conveyance and put up a shamiana and chairs on the road for 3 days and left the entire road in a mess with banana plants, mango leaves plastic etc etc ..I have seen this happening even in Bangalore , where the road is closed without having any consideration for other people!

Such people are very common in all the parts of our country. Even in Maharashtra, weddings in such families mean terrible headaches and nuisance for common people. They indulge in all sorts of things that will annoy others to the maximum, hire the loudest band, invite more number of guests than the last MLC did for his son's or daughter's wedding, bring in more caterers to do more number of dishes than others etc. etc. anything to show off their wealth and power! No regard for courtesy or wellbeing of others!

Many would agree, including me. Why MLCs and MLAs? Even commoners are erecting pendals for every function small or big on the public roads blocking the traffic and causing inconvenience. As a victim, when I questioned the organizers, the entire entourage of his chamchas rose against me. As long as the public fail to intervene and question, things will go on and on.......

A friend of mine has the misfortune of staying next to a party plot where marriages are frequently held and loud music is played beyond 10 pm also. He once complained to the police and the inspector asked him his age. The inspector laughed and told him in about ten years time you will also celebrate your son's marriage, at that time you also play music loud and beyond 10 pm and take your revenge and kept the phone down.

Yes actually they do this out of their own insecurities. Even if you engage into a simple conversation they will try to find out something about it.

There are community halls meant for holding functions in my colony. The management demands undertakings from the organizers of the function, that no noise producing devises like mikes should be used after 10 PM. And they strictly adhere to it.
