In extraordinary conditions there is a provision for Mid term elections.

Mid term elections are held only if no government is possible in existing Lok Sabha. As long as government has confidence of the house, there will be no mid term elections. We have to go by normal situation and not exceptional circumstances.

Which is why I said "Extra Ordinary Conditions." when any government fails in its functioning in all spheres of administration and chaos prevails in day to day life, Mid term elections can be used.
If there is a coalition governement it is possible to overthrow a government by withdrawing support like it was done with NDA...But when you have a majority government this is not possible unless the governance is so bad that the MPs of the party revolt and withdraw mass support.....there has to be a very strong reason for such a thing to hapen !

Surely the first price rise issue is not a reason for the government to be changed so soon. Every govt has the right to increase prices till it hurts the people enough to vote them out in five year cycles.
If there is a coalition governement it is possible to overthrow a government by withdrawing support like it was done with NDA...But when you have a majority government this is not possible unless the governance is so bad that the MPs of the party revolt and withdraw mass support.....there has to be a very strong reason for such a thing to hapen !

With an already deficit rainfall, we are going to have very tough days ahead , thats for sure and for this I hope the BJP is prepared and making allowances since there will be need to do that. Already we have more than 40% shortage in rainfalls and if this continues then the nation will be in trouble..
