BJP used BOFORS guns purchased by Congress to win Kargil back from Pakistanis. Courts have acquitted Rajiv Gandhi of alleged corruption charges. Bofors was milked by BJP before every election. In between they would lie silent and did not pursue the matter when they were in power. Yes they have far better propaganda machinery and are good at negative publicity .
Acqittal of Rajiv ? YS jagan Mohan Reddy is also acquitted who had swallowed 100 times more than Rajiv. And now he's the opposition party leader in AP assembly.
It is convenintly forgoten that Congress and BJP both follow same economic and fiscal policies. With change in ruling party, nothing changes as such. Just partis change position. There will be same acts and same reactions. Just roles have changed.
It is not proper to say that earlier governments spoiled the economy. After all today on PPP ie Purchase Price Parity India is the third largest economy in the world ,after USA and China. Is this possible if government policies were faulty and other adjectives that are being liberally used. Economics follows its own laws irrespective of who is in power. For the very same reasons prices are being increased today, the BJP used to protest and stall Parliament. So nothing has changed only the parties have changed position.

We condemn scams but acievements of previous govts are not to be ignored. There will be no scam when there is no achievement. The 2g scam also is linked to the telecom revolution. Now every one has mobile phone. The scam in common wealth game is also acompanid by world class sports facilities in the capital. Moreover, whatever infrastructure- Railways, Dams, roads, computer, roads- we see, we owe to good leadership and work by Congress. When the first P.M. was working for development of infrastructure and development, electricity, the opposition were fooling the general public. One opposition leader said in an election speech- The water for irrigation is not pure and strong. The Congress government has extracted eenergy (electricity) from tthe water and so you are getting only 'separata' for irrigation.
Certainly there are achievements. Unfortunately they are outnumbered by scams.
Scams only show achievements. You can't indulge in corruption unless you achieve somethingh. Most of the scams have been in telecom sector. First name that comes to mind is of sukh Ram. Maximum achievement and progress has also been in telecom sector.
Incidentally, no scam is reported so far in 3G. Is this because there has been no progress in 3G technology?

Yes. Reddy is still facing trial. His father whom AP voted repeatedly was the onewho made the crores. People also vote such politicians to power everywhere.
