Sudhir passed away yesterday after a prolonged illness. He started with his career as a leading man. He gave a heart touching performance as a soldier in Haqeeqat and a few other films.. I have given links for two of his old film songs
May his soul rest in peace !!!

His other films were Joshila, Deewar where he played the villain .....in the sixties he acted in many small time films as the leading man with Mumtaz, Sayeeda Khan, Naaz and other ladies...

Though he enacted in lead roles, Sudhir was known more as a 'Baddie'. And I liked his bad roles than his lead roles. exception was his role opposite Mumtaz.

I agree, he became known after he turned a villain , before that he acted only in B and C grade films like Barood, Bambai ka billi, OOmar qaid, Dada, Ustad 420 - all relatively unknown films remembered more for their melodious music rater than the storyline..

Sudhir's histrionic prowess shown more in bad roles. Which is why he was noticed by big producers and could act along with big actors.
