Jaylalita has to get rid of her regional attitude in order to become the PM.

Most leaders in 'third front' are regional with exception of Left. Traditionally left only supports from outside. even Jyoti Basu was not permitted by his party- CPI(M) to become P.M. Hence other than Congress and BJP, only a regional leader can be P.M. There is no doubt that the regional leaders have also a national outlook that will enable them to do well in national politics.

Regional leaders having a broad National outlook are almost nil right now. They may change the outlook if the possibility of a regional leader becoming a National leader or as the PM.

Actualy all are similar. Only responsibility brings difference. There is a saying- The chair teaches. when some body is just a village surpanch he will think only at that level. But when he is elevated to higher level, his outlook will also change. To elucidate, presently jay Lalitha is C.M. and so will think of only Tamilnadu. But when she is P.M., she will by very necessity of her responibility will have to think beyond her region and act as national leader.

I too am of the same opinion about Jayalalita. The new conditions and the responsibilities may bring forth the necessary leadership qualities.that reflect her National outlook and attitude.

Jayalalitha is an autocrat, we can see the kind of psycophancy she expects fro her partymen, bowing anf scraping in front of her...other than that she has many cases of disappropriate waelth cases pending, so she is definitely not desirable, although she may have leadership qualities

The successful governments have been led by women. Indira Gandhi, Mayavati, Jay Lalitha are good examples. NDA led by BJP is likely to get good number of seats. May be Sushma Swaraj could prove best P.M.

I personally prefer Sushma Swaraj as the BJP's PM candidate. Her role as the opposition leader in the Parliament was really exemplary.
