Is it not astonishing that PM candidate chose to deliver election speech just near polling booth. He selected Guharat where he is C.M. It appears that he felt that the elctoral advantages of such violation is much morte than the penalty or disadvantage that election commission may impose. Moreover once the elections are over, all officials in Gujarat will be at mercy of Modi.

BJP denied that Modi held a meeting near the poling booth. However it said they will abide by the decision of the EC.

I don't think it was an innocent mistake. It was a deliberate violation of election rules and hence the guilty has to be punished.

How 'guilty' will be punished. After the elections are over, Election commission wil lose control on staff and they will again be under C.M.- Modi. Modi had well calculated pros and cons. after all, all is fair in love, war and elections.

A far sighted move by Modi. EC will not stay forever.

They should have cocentrated more of their future instead of running against political leader. I am surprised at the FIR,

This kind of foul language was first started by Sonia Gandhi when she called Modi Maut ke Saudagr, and now when they get a taste of their medicine they are unable to handle it ! Thwe way her daughter goes about using frenzied language shows how desperate they are ...ypical Congress party double standards ..

Presently, BJP appears to be more aggressive and active. Congress being weaker and victim can oly complaint. Have you ever seen a bully complaining. It is only the weak and timid boy who complains against the bully.

Congress is looking like a cry baby, haunted by constant fear of defeat, though it's putting a false brave front.

Modi definitely does everything for his success and law/ code of conduct means nothing to him. But he is clever enough to be tecnically on right side of law. In this case, he definitely did what he wanted but made his show just a very short distance away from the restricted area. The FIRs against him also were hgelpful to him in his mission. Clearly he knows rules of the game and has tact to make best use of these.
it iz cong which is making him popular. What's the need to complain to ec on election days. Congress's mindset is that only it can rule and the rest have to follow what they say, now with some chance of BJP ccoming to power, they will see to it that by hook or mostly crook they will scuttle Modi's chance of becoming the PM, and this is one such example...
Some of cong actions suggest they are desperate, like now preparing for snoopgate investigation at the end of election, sibal complaining terrorist violence act in Assam due to Modi, now wherever anything happens it is due to Modi, I think they should face the defeat even if they think so as their actions seems to suggest, they should face it if they think they are defating gracefully.it iz cong which is making him popular. The elections are still in process and it is too early to comment who is winning or ruling. Even if a party is defeated, the right as well as duty to protect national interests and unity continue- as a ruling party or opposition. We need be a bit patient and wait for actual outcome of the elections that may differ a lot from what the media or the so called surveys suggest.
