actors as ministers

I would like to see Sanjay as the Defense minister. Because he holds an AK 147 always in his hands..
I want to see Sallu Bhai as the minister for Parliamentary affairs as he jumps over the seats of the members and holds them by collar to put the house in order.
And I'd like to see SRK as the minister for information and broadcasting minister because he sends the messages through his dances and songs.

Actors have been successful politicians down south - we have had N T RamaRao, MGR, Jayalaitha managing very well..However, I dont see anyone from Hindi films capable enough since the same dedication is missing.Even Sunil Dutt who was a gentleman was not an effective politician and the others like Vinod Khanna, Shatrugan Sinha, Raj Babba etc are just there ....I doubt if they are taken seriously by anyone ! Even someone like Amitabh gave up for different reasons - he could not handle the stress and the duplicity involved ..

Of the Hindi stars mentioned above, Raj Babbar is the only serious politician. In fact, he has not just entered politics for encashing his glamor. He was in political movement even in college days. For him, acting and politics both are equal. But it is true that in North India, the film personalities are not dominating like those in south.

N.T. Rama Rao created history by uprooting the Congress party which was thought to be a party that cannot be uprooted.. All the famous politicians of Tamilnadu till now are directly or indirectly connected with Movie industry.
