It’s your life. Live your life. Don’t live somebody’s life..
You too have strong points. Make them stronger.
Work on your weak points and turn them in to strong points

We usually get influenced easily by others. Nothing can be better if we live life the way we are. To be ourselves is the most difficult task.

The easiest thing to live your own life is to know about your own inner resources with which all of us are endowed with,
I agree with that ! The problem arises only when you start eulating others lives without realising your own realities....Ambition is good but unless you are focussed nothing really materialises in life !

Human nature is, we see what others have without seeing what we have.
We never care to spend a second to discover ourselves or our inner resources. Once we start doing it, nothing can stop us from achieving the ultimate happiness.

That's why they say 'Count your blessings, not the curses,'
Counting blessings or curses all depends on the kind of person he is. Negativity will always make him count his curses where as if he is of positive attitude, he will count his blessings.

The ability of seeing the brighter part of yourself comes only with positive attitude Pessimists see the shades under the light. Optimists see the light itself.
We all lack in such teachings. We since our childhoods were taught various subjects but no subject neither in our school days nor in our college days comprised of even a single lesson teaching us or helping us to find ourselves. I guess these things are taught by life itself.

And don't forget the parental guidance. The rudiments of life are learned from the home first.
Parents now a days are teaching their kids the ways of earning name, fame and popularity. They want them to be good doctors, engineers etc..... rather than teaching their kids to be good humans.

Then I'd say it's a bad parenting. They say there is no bigger university than the home and no greater teachers than parents.
Earlier certain subjects like gardening, sewing, moral education and music were part of the school curricculum which have all been eased out now and made into optional subjects, shows the direction in which our education system is taking ...To develop a wholesome and well rouded personality teaching children all these aspects of life were considered essential by our eminent educationists of yester years but with the present dog eat dog scenario, no one really cares, least the parents themselves. They want a quick rich formula for their children so that they grow up to be successful overnight even if it means making vulgar gestures like the stars and dancing in front of an audience at age 5 or 6 !

Of course it's bad parenting. They consider their kids as investments. They spend huge amount on them to reap double the amount in near future.

By this faulty education the learner has become dependent on external help. The present generation doesn't know what a text book is. They know only about guides and books on Solved question and Answers.

Each and every subject is of great importance like moral education, gardening, horticulture etc..... Present education system do not understand this and is only giving importance to science, maths and other subjects. Education system as well as teachers along with parents feel that it's waste of time to teach kids something that is off stream. All the kids are not going to turn into doctors or engineers. Society needs tailors, sweepers, horticulturists and many such people. And thus no subject has to be given less importance.

From all this happenings going around in the education sphere, i came to the conclusion that its not the children but parents need education.

No doubt that change is an essnetial part of life and one cannot stop it from happening. But here the change is happening in such a way that quality of life is at stake and we are losing the very essence of living a fruitful balanced life because of greed and confused priorities.

The problem is that parents do not wish their kids to turn out anything apart from doctors, engineers and other high qualified personalities. They do not understand that all the professions have to be equally respected. Once society starts respecting sweeper the way they respect doctors then we can proudly remark our society as modern.

You are right. Neither students nor the teachers more importantly the parents have their own priorities. They are plagued by the herd mentality.
