children learn by imitating you. You are your role model. Thus there are some things that you should do and others you should not do in presence of children. For example, if you just switch on TV on coming home, child will feel that watching TV is only thing to do. So some times take child outside home also to let him know that there are many things other than TV and home environment. Molre in link:

Yes.. All those things shouldn't be done in front of kids.. There are many other things like these which shouldn't be done in front of kids..

We the elders underestimate the grasping power if children , not knowing that they are the quick learners. Whatever the parents do they immediately imitate you.
