who initiates a scheme does not matter so much. The scheme is implemented by bureaucracy. even when the ruling party changes, scheme remains and it is responsibility of the succeeding government to implement. Also many schemes are made by center and also financed but are implemented by state governments.

People are impartial. They give credit to the right agency without any bias. But we have seen how the Aadhar card scheme has misfired because of lack of minimum infrastructure that is mandatory. Now one by one the link with Aadhar cards for getting gas connection are withdrawn This mirrors the lack of forethought on the part of the rulers.

When Adhar Card was introduced, it was said that it will be the Master Card. But the result happened just opposite, now no more it is a master card but still it has its own value. So, if this news is correct then its really a serious concern. It means then any one can create or make this card as per their available documents and can misuse it.

No more value is left in Aadhar card. No scheme has a link with it. A capital waste forced on the slender shoulders of the poor common man.

Generally what they say and what the real thing is have no connections in the administrative parlances. Especially the government starts any scheme with lot of hype and remains silent after some time. Now Aadahar card has no value at all. The wastage on this Aadhar card is astronomical. None is complaining. Pity.

Implementing anything in India has its own problems...We have two neighbors who are more here than there and get all the benefirts meant for citizens with active participation of the politicians since they get that many more votes.An identity card shd be water tight and absolutely relaiable and I wonder whether we would ever be able to come up with the kind of social security cards they have abroad..

It is hardly surprising that Adhar cards can now be bought for a mere 500 rupees. Ration cards are known to be sold to Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Nepalese etc. for many years now on the basis of which they can even obtain Indian passports! It is very sickening to see most of all our systems are so easily accessible to miscreants!

That's so true.. In starting there were saying that without Aadhar card you will not able to continue many daily life services.. But still many people not having it and still using all the service.. So no aadhar. :laugh:

Now of course even the Supreme court has realised how ineffective it is as an identity card and has said that it is not mndatory to have Aadhar card for anything...so we go back to Passport,pan card and voters id again until the politicians gang up and think of another money making venture ! :dry:

Thanks fully apex court gives the ruling that no person will be debarred from any services and benefits for the need of this card, and the father of this card also now contesting election, and it seems this card is slowly becoming liability and as the link speaks of a sting and it seems this card can be dangerous as outsiders can become citizen or can have citizen like status, as this process needs to be tightened or abolished completely.
