For some time, we are witnessing accidents in naval ships and submarines. Some casualties have occured. This is indeed a very sorry state of affairs. We may well imagine how our navy will perform in actual war conditions.

Preliminary investigation says that there is an absence of routIne and preventive maintenance. I wonder how these lapses could take pllace in the most important defense organization. It amounts to both complacency and deriliction of duty . These are unpardonable.

They say accidents do not happen, they are caused. Most of the accidents are due to human error and negligence.

Submarines and many other ships need lot of upgradation. Indian government needs to take care of these things, because have limited submarines and if we don't take we will lost all these things in future.
