Kejriwal was the first from tha anti corruption pro Jan Lok Pal team to join active politics by forming a new political party. Now Anna himself is in Mamata Banerjee Trinmool camp. Others like Kiran bedi are already aligned to BJP. Thus the apolitical nature of the Anna movement and distance from active politics is now a thing of past.

I think Decision to support Mamta is not right he looks good as he is working as Anna not a politician.
Actually he feels that like his disciple Kejriwal, he should also be in active politics. Kejriwal formed a party more than a year ago. Now the election process starts. Anna does not have much time to form a new politixcal party. Therefore, he hired services of an existing political party- namely Mamata Banerjee led Trinmool Congress. Mamata Banerjee is mainly restriucted to West Bengal and may be some pockets in North East. So she has franchised her party symbhol and name to anna in rest of the country. If her party gets some seats in other states thanks to anna, she will get status of all India Party whereas anna will get his supporters elected as well as counter Kejriwal, his ex disciple.
That means Anna is indirectly helping BJP, some votes that could have gone to Kejriwal now would go to Anna lessening chances of Kejriwal indirectly, in turn helping to BJP. I think Anna and Mamata has chosen this strategy to bring NDA back to power.

I agree with your assessment. In Delhi, the Anna/ Mamata tis will definitely harm AAP and help BJP. In other places also this will be so. Moreover now there are many problems within AAP itself on tickets allocation for coming elections. More and more people are now considering NDA as real altrenative and others only as vote splitters. In fact, BJP is propagating that vote to third front or any one else will go to help Congress only.

All decisions of the politicians are self centered and a return for their decisions is in a hidden agenda. This is without any exception.

He was far better off and respected by even his opponents now the position has changed. Some people feel that they are king makers- They in fact, misjudge themselves and soon get out of mainstream. People like Anna, Nithish, Mayavati, and Mulayam come into such category.

Even if AAP is in power, AAP would not have replied. Basically in the early stages Kejriwal had serious differences with Anna. That's why he departed from Anna Group.
