Hear without ear!

Only he does not have external ears. This does not affecting hearing cxapacity.

As long as the middle and internal organs are in tact, a human can hear without pinnae or external ear. such people can hear through bone conduction of skull. But the quality of voice loses its clarity.

This problem is not hereditary. The victim's four siblings are free from this defect. So the doctors say with plastic surgery artificial pinnae can be provided.

Right from my childhood I have kept hearing that external auditory canal should not get damaged as it is the main means of hearing. We all are asked to take special care while cleaning our ears because if the object is inserted deep inside may damage it and impairs hearing. Thanks for the whole information. Through the link I have come to know that ear mainly consists of three structures i.e., external, middle and internal and each part has its own role to play.
