Rotis or chapatis is major food item in North India. Normally, chaptis are made of wheat flour (atta). But there are other types of chapatis also. There are also tandoori and Rumali rotis. More in the link below:

Though I'm a South Indian, I lived in North and Eastern India for a pretty long time. Owing to this I developed a liking towards Roti, so much that, I eat paranthas everyday during night meals. Hence I'm almost familiar with all kinds of Roties mentioned in the link except Raagi roti. Anyhow, my favorite variety is Phulka.

My favorites are roomali roti and naan. I like to eat them with butter chicken. :) :)

Is phulka also a brand. I think chapati, roti and phulka are same. 'Phulka' is probably Punjabi name for chapati or roti.

I don't know, but the making of Phulka differs from Chapati as far as I know and Phulkas are made in much lesser time than Chapati. Anyhow I'm not much aware of these intricacies. You will be in a better position to say.
I am from BIHAR where Roti made from Flour is preferred by peoples. Apart from roti , I like Naan.
I love chapatis, have always loved it since my childhood days since almost everyday I used to have it in my lunch box with different vegetable curries. There is nothing as tasty as hot chapatis with home made ghee ! I love the ones made with brown wheat to which I add a handful of methi seeds before getting it ground. I love all the stuffed varies too...all paratha, methi paratha, dhal roti egg paratha etc etc..

Yes in North Indian cuisine a meal is not complete unless it has some kind of roti in it. Everything in a lunch or meal is eaten with roti in my house.
I like chapatis and Naan. I like to eat hot chapatis with any type of vegetables.

Phulka is made in a different way, the dough made to make phulkas is kneaded thickly and rotis are smaller and thinner than regular ones and they are heated only slightly on a griddle and then roasted directly over open fire.

My favorite ones are hot jowar rotis served with a generous dollop of butter and bajra rotis during winter. While making bajra rotis, we spread sesame seeds over its wet surface before roasting and eat it smeared with ghee or butter. Really delicious and nutritious.
I like to eat the egg parathas that the street vendors make in Delhi.

Parathas are also a sort of chapati. These may be considered as stuffed chapatis. More on parathas:

That seems really delicious. Though sadly I never tasted stuffed makai palak parathas.

Roti made with Jowar (Jonnalu in Telugu) is a regular item in Telagana and Rayala Seema of AP, where rice is not an abundant crop. It's hard to digest, but ideal for the farmers who toil. It's gluten free.
