Direct contact or recommendation may be considered as effective ways of getting jobs easily. But in order to retain the job, one needs to demonstrate their skill sets.
Yes it will be helpful for those who have all the skills to do justice to the job, but not the prescribed educational qualification. Such candidates ultimately become indispensable in their respective jobs.
