Beautiful forests around the world!

Wow.. Really beautiful places.. This world is full of such places, I wish I can visit them once.

I agree, just drive a few kilometers in any direction and you find nothing but jungles and jungles. This kangaroo was not afraid of us but gave us a nice pose too

It seems Nature has distributed its beauty to different places, each giving an uniqueness of its own. I liked the Bamboo forests of Japan.

True Usha...these giant baobabs are truly unique and magnificent. These trees must be thousands of years old. When I visited Mandu last year, there are about 2000 trees in Mandu which are about 300-350 years old. One of the sultans is said to have brought them back with him from Africa and they have not reached even half the size of the trees in Madagascar, but they too are so beautiful!

The best forest that I have liked to visit is the Dehradun forest reserve. It is very beautiful, lovely but also dangerous.

Did you take some pictures of those trees in Mandu? If so plz do upload them here...Incidentally Africa especially the wild Africa is very beautiful with its vast stretches of open space and thorny trees ...

That's a bad sign. Deforestation is going on in large scale which is resulting in untimely rains. Tsunamis and storms. Who can forget the devastation of Uttarakhand recently?

Such beautiful destinations really force us to make the trip to such beautiful creation of god.

Usha, I had photographed some trees but unfortunately one of our memory cards got corrupted and they are lost! The ones I have remaining are long distance shots and not worth much! :(

They are nice looking, had seen this earlier on the net...It is called crooked forest with pine trees that have curved stems. How exactly they managed to get that shape is still unknown since the trees are old and grown in a relatively unknown region which was part of German province ..

Yes, you are right, it is known as a crooked forest located in Poland.
