But the movie is some different Leela. Then why call this Ram Leela? Then would 'Raas Leela' be appropriate? This would also be linked to Raas Leela by Krishna. Could the film makers not select some name unconnected with any religious hero? 'Love game' or ''Aao pyaar karen' could be alternative titles.

Have not seen this movie. But movie is getting publicity for wrong reasons.
Wrong or right reasons, movie producers are interested in publicity. Audience will see if it's good. Audience will see even if it's bad. In this case audience wish to see "why it's bad." in both cases producer is the beneficiary.
I think a particular section of the crowd will stay away for its name and another may stay away offended by its name, I don't know how the crowd is going to appreciate this illogical name! Yes the cast of the movie can bring some followers in.
yes opinions and views vary. But the producers are not interested about our opinions. They are interested in collections.
I am afraid a few movies did bad due to bad titles only, I will not be surprised if same thing happens with this one too.
Quite possible. But out of over enthusiasm some producers commit this mistake assuming that the titles will shower cash at the Box office. This will prove as bane on them.

Ram and Lila in name of main chracter of this film. I think Lila Ram is more suitable name for it.
Yes according to Indian culture name of women comes first like Sita-Ram So yes Leela Ram was a better option. :)

Black was indeed a very sensiive film and Amitabh was good in his role...I also liked Bhansalis other films although Devdas was a modern version of the old classic.But it was watchable because of the two leading ladies who both looked beautiful...

I don't agree with you. If we teach good things, child becomes good. They adopt good habits and tendencies. Vulgar movies can only spoil the mind and attitude of children They can hardly understand the good and bad out of it. If teenage boys and girls are made to see good educational, social and mythological movies, it grows good attitude and behaviour in them.
All this belongs to ethics and culture. It has nothing to do with the great peoples of past. Moreover if any child wants to follow the teachings of the great legendary people from the past, it is good.
