The contemporary progressive Hindi literature has suffered irreparable loss in the demise of eminent author Rajendra yadav. He wrote many stories on the theme of women and downtrodden. He was in tradition of Munshi Prem Chand. In fact, the magazine 'Hans' edited by him was in continuation of Munshi Prem Chand's work. Munshi Prem Chand was the editor of 'Hans' during his life time.

Sorry to say that I do not know about this progressive contemporary writer Rajendra Yadav. But all good things have to come to and one day. May his soul rest in Peace.
Who doesn't know about the great writer Munshi Premchand ? He made himself immortal with his evergreen classic GODAAN. I still remember his 'Panch Parameshwar "one of his short stories.

We cannot compare anyone with Munshi Prem Chand. But significantly, Rajendra Yadav edited the magazine 'Hans' till end of his life. This magazine id legacy of Munshi Prem Chand. There are very progressive (Pragativadi) authors in Hindi presently. Hence his death has left a void. I don't know whether the magazine 'Hans' will be same after Yadav's demise.

Munshi Prem chand's place in the literay field is so high that very less people could reach those heights. The fact that his works are translated in to many languages speaks loudly volumes about his trend setting ways. Yaday carried forward the spirit of Premchand successfully through the brain child of Premchand's Hans.
