I would not want to see through the eyes of a cat it makes the world too blurred. Too hazy.

Here I may give another information. For dog, everything is black or white. No color.

Yet one more piece of useful information. On the whole, the entire information is worth preserving.

Yet the cat's eye is used for showing path in the night, do you know how. The powder used in red reflective paint on signboards is called 'cat's eye' because cat can see in the night.

This is all I wanted. If Gulshan's initiative has thrown light on useful and informative stuff, you have added some more and enhanced the information. These things can be shown to children. They derive lot of knowledge.

The inventor of cat's eyes was Percy Shaw of England. When the tram-lines were removed in the nearby suburb of Ambler Thorn, he realised that he had been using the polished strips of steel to navigate. The name "cat's eye" comes from Shaw's inspiration for the device: the eyeshine reflecting from the eyes of a cat.

I did some leg work for a big company engaged in manufacturing reflective items for government departments. My job was negotiating for them with DGSD. I read a lot about reflective tapes and eyes some 25 years before.

I believe cats look at the world in a better way than that of ours. Most of us feel that cat crossing on the way in!s not a good sign!

Cats crossing one's way is neither a good sign nor a bad sign. The belief that its a bad sign is prevailing in these parts also. But it's nothing but a superstition.
