Social and collective outrage on woman modesty

A tribal girl was stripped in public and misbehaved for marrying outside caste. Is this not worse than individual cases of sexual assaults?

Isn't it the same case similar to whatever is happening in Hariyana and W.UP. Actually we cannot come out of our traditions so easily.

No matter how advanced a country is how educated people are or not, the original bestial instincts of people will never diminish, therefore such disgusting incidents will keep happening! :blink:

Tradition never asks people to strip women in any circumstance , it is just the disgusting mindset of some people who have dirty minds....Such people should be given death penalty no less since they have done the same with the poor young girl, and this is not the first time it is happening either ! There are times when I feel ashamed to call myself an Indian !

It is not that traditions authorize anyone to do what some people are doing to and there are not only men involved in such acts. Even women are as responsible and active partners when such incidents take place. In fact women are the ones who encourage men to go and punish 'men and women' involved in violation of so-called 'traditions' Men can never carryout such actions without consent or support of their women folk.

Yes I agree with that ! There are some women who openly encourage such things when it is to do with someone who is not part of their family or they may do so even with their own family members because of blind belief...Women can be as cruel or even more cruel than men , no doubt about that !

This is outrageous, all offenders should be behind bars, this trend is affecting in many areas of this country, this should be condemned. strong action is need of the hour.
