Speaks about the real mettle of Indian citizens, is all I can say to these statistics! I have often heard from elders that a criminal who commits crimes is sinful, but the victims who suffer those crimes wordlessly is equally sinful! I agree ! Without the support of their followers and also their party high command they would not be able to thrive....It almost looks as if India is going the same way some of the drug infested South American countries function....Drug lords are the law makers there ! :ohmy:

Are the statistics about murder only or all crimes. The ratio among politicians has to be more because there are many offences related to political activities. If a politician fights for a cause, he will be arrested and some allegations made. For example, there is an agitation for Bench of High Court at Agra. In such agitations also,some may be arrested and jailed.
What is significant is not 'crimes' as such. The 'crimes involving moral turpitude' which means sex and corruption related crimes only matter.

Don't worry now we have right to reject.

We always reject all candidates but one and in the process select best possible candidate according to our choice. The question of rejecting all arises only when every candidate is corrupt. This is not usually the case. It cannot be that every one is corrupt or immoral. If so, it is citizen''s duty to get good candidates and propose them instead of rejecting all.

South American countries are infested with drug lords, while ours is infested with corrupt politicians-turned-builders, with a number of dubious businesses. Also they are not really different than British conquerers who adopted divide and rule policy, our politicians are doing the same, each party being no different than other, but only under the guise of secularism! So there is not much difference between the drug lords and these kinds, both are equally damaging to human kind!

Laluji convicted and and jailed today but punishment has not yet been announced. It has been told that it will be announced soon.

As a direct impact to this, the whole environment is now full with rugged elements, the place which earlier seems to be the most safer ones now slowly becoming danger areas even for natives. Supreme Court have said that all the private security agencies as null as this is a right step as most of them are engaged in side business such as arson or contact killings,

Todays judgment on Fodder case has been really encouraging ! Lalu and 44 others have been found guilty and the sentencing will be done on the 3rd October.Lallu has been sent to prison.We can all heave a sigh of relief now since we dont have to worry whether by hook or crrok we may find Lalu as our PM...That was Rabri devi and his pet ambition , pradhan mantri banneka iccha hai... :dry:
