BJP, started seeing the things in a newer perspective,especially after projecting NaMo as its PM candidate. Inviting foreign diplomats to Narendra Modi's rally right now seems to be good. What way this trend is going to be beneficial to the party remains to be seen

This is a question of propriety. It is improper for any diplomat to attend political rally as that amounts to participation in internal political affairs of the country. This is not so much a question of what affect attending by a particular diplomat would be or how much significant is the country represented by the diplomat.
