Google has been taking a note of celebrities and extraordinary people with Google Doodle. I think that's a great way to give something in return. The history of Indian classical music will never be complete without M.S. Subhalaxmi.

Yes, it is a befitting tribute to one of our greatest musical geniuses!! She inspired and continue to do us as long Indian music lives!!

The music legend M.S. Subbulashmi makes Tamilandu a proud state. In our state, Tamilnadu, a lot of events have been sheduled to make this ceremony memorable.

Fondly called as MS, Subbulakshmi right from her maiden performance at the tender age of 11 till her death in 2004 has become a synonym with Indian classical music. There is no award that didn't adorn her.In fact awards from Bharat Ratna to Magsaysay came in search of her.
I'm proud to be a contemporary of this legend.
