It is my question to this intelligent advocate can you assured that if court free them or sentence them life impriosnment that no sucj crime take place in India and Delhi. They all six crossed the limit of gothicism. They should be hang till the death for more than 10000 times. I think this advocate have not daughter, sister.

A defence lawyer has a job to do and he is doing to the best of his ability knowing fully well what his clients are ....Having said that , in most cases , normally the higher courts dont overrule the judgment given by the lower courts unless it is biased , which is not the case here ! That's a valid point. The lawyer could be asked this question if the 4 aren't given capital punishment - as he is asking for - will he say that the rapes won't happen? I think you should have been a lawyer yourself.

Apparently when the verdict was read out the defense lawyer was so angry that he screamed at the judge calling out Asatymeva Jayate...He also has gone on to tell that if his daughter had illicit sex he would kill her ! I can imagine what kind of a husband and father he would be, probably needs counselling as much as the killers do...he also needs to be restrained and taken to task for not respecting the law and the judge !

I had just heard his comments outside the court that I had mentioned at the start of the discussion. I didn't know the things you mentioned. I think the judge should take action against him. I don't know on what points was he protecting those criminal rapists.

The defense also tried to establish that in the remaining four there are two young. And with all said and done, its not the end. A beginning only. Defense is going for an appeal to higher courts. The criminals should not have been given a chance to further appeal.

There is need to hang everyone found guilty in rape cases, there is no place for mercy to such an offender. The woman who tolerated such people almost went through the death herself, some of them did not die during the act but committed suicide or went through hell. I do not call this one but all such cases a shame on us. All such people deserve death, nothing less.
