I dont think this case will be of use. The girl will be suffering and the godman will be set free as usual as per how it is happening i India for many cases
It has happened previously too with so many other godmen, I too think that anything can be done or justice given to the poor girl. A few years ago many young boys from Asaram bapu's ashrams had died under mysterious circumstances and no one was ever punished for it and that has already been forgotten by many! :blink:
First veracity of incident needs to be thoroughly checked into, is it true or politically motivated? I have not followed this case.
Actually Asharam is notorious for such things. My colleagues tells that once a Dy. S.P. in Agra helped Asharam in a similar case on getting a heavy bribe.

I don't think we should use 'saint' word any more for people who are busy making money by practicing the way these people are doing. They are as good as singers who sing for making money. We can see such people with self styled titles prefixed before their names. Word Saint sounds funny when added with such people.

They are saint because people follow them as saints.. And this news againt Asaram Babu is pretty old i believe... He was also criticised the way he wasted water in Holi when Maharashtra was going through water crisis.. God save us..
These persons doing such assault should be punished.No excuse should be given.If such persons cannot control his sexual feelings then why such persons are entering into "holy life" ?
Because we make them... We follow them. So if they have the pleasure to have fun , cheat and earn money,... why shouldn't they....

True....any such cases happen, the truth behind them needs to be verified, but in case of this particular godman, he has been accused on numerous other cases of sexual harassment and also deaths of youngsters. So I don't think there is any political motive at play here but that it is purely a case of molested girl seeking justice!

I think at this time godman will not set free. I dislike this godman. Once I read books which is published by this contravery man. Indeed he is business man. His views for women are fierce. He wrote don't see face of woman for three days ( during mansulation period). What a rubbish?

I also pity the parents who send their daughters to such saints' school and even agree to 'anushthan' to cure the daughter. I feel that people should not send their children to schools run by such religious bodies- at least to live in hostels and participate in any rituals.

It's not only about godmen. Powerful people come out easily out of these troubled situations. And yes, I still remember the boys being dead mysteriously. I still wonder what might have happened to them. And what do you think will be the result of this case?
