substitute to sweets

In my idea sweets has no replacement. One cannot take place of sweetness. Nice Substitutes mention in link.

It is customary to offer sweets at functions like wedding. Here are some substitutes:

In India every state has their some special sweets. So chocolate etc can not replace Indian sweets.

But sweets do get bored sometimes. We should always have alternatives. Also sometimes they are not hygenic. Although they can't be replaced completely, options are always good...
