I am pleased to know that present prez of Pak is from Agra but I am not at all happy that former prez of Pak P. Musharraf was born in Delhi. He probably did most harm for the cause of our relations.

Place of birth has got nothing to do when it comes to maintaining good relations. Anyhow what good the new president will do to maintain good relations with India has to be seen for some time.
Good to hear that an Indian born becoming President of Pakistan. Hope he tries to make strong relations with India.

Your hope is as good mine but that is not the idea of Pakistani Politics. They will not survive a day if they follow this policy.
Pakistan’s survival is based on “ Hate India” policy. Anyone especially whose origin is India contradicts it will be treated as enemy of Pakistan. . So, I’m not expecting any change in relations with India.
After all he is pakistani and he have to do whatever pakistani wants. Now he can not be said Indian.

Nobodyh says that he is Indian. He was only born at Agra and so this is a matter of pride for Agra. Incidentally, I was born in Rawalpindi in Pakistan. But I am totally Indian.

That's right, my forefathers came from lahore and settled in Kurukshetra well before division of India but no one says we are Pakistani. One has to be true citizen of his country of residence.
India and Pakistan seem like two step brothers fighting over property without realizing that they have inherited so much from each other.

In this case no one is fighting but trying to say that present prez of Pakistan was born in Agra therefore we should have some hopes of better dealing from him. :)

Those who follow politics in Pakistan, know it all as to who are the bosses deciding things. No politician worth its name can save his her life without cursing India. Whether its president is born in Agra or Kolkata is simply irrelevant in realpolitik!!!!
