Modi is being denied a visa for long. No doubt there are many allegations of communal violence against him. But is it justified to deny visa to a Chief Minister of Indian state? Moreover, issue of denial of Visa should be concern of U.S. administration only and there is no reason why Indian MPs should campaign against issue of VISA to Gujarat C.M.
Some M.P. s have written a letter to U.S. President requesting not to issue VISA. Sita Ram Yechurry , CPI(M) and one more M.P. have denied having signed the letter. Yechuri said that somebody could have copy pasted his signature. According to him, it is for U.S. government to decide and he would never write a letter to U.S. President or any other foreign had of state. .

Actually any country if avoid CM that it could be ok but to avoid PM it could be more harmful so US will try to become friend.
This is owing to our weak policy that U.S.A. affords to deny VISA to one of CMs. If for a change India denied VISA to some governor of a state in U.S.A. for alleged racial discrimination, you may well imagine reaction there.
Truly shameful! It is our servile mindset which could have been the reason behind such highly despicable actions on the part of a few honorable (?) members of Parliament. They quixotically feel that still they are subjects of foreign rulers!!
Exactly ! I find the political class a pathetic lot in India, neither have any shame, dignity nor self respect. The honorable ones can be counted on finger tips ...
