Let me ask you the age old question-How do you deal with a difficult child? Are you patient if your child misbehaves or do you slap/rebuke him? Which approach do you think is the best and the one that works?

If a child misbehaves let him/her know what is correct . Don't punish them as it wont help in anyway.

It depends on the age of the child. Kids generally try to draw your attention through crying, when they are hungry or in an uncomfortable condition. Parents should attend the child. Children of higher age use tantrums to get what they demand. In such cases, parents should ignore.
