I see that in-spite of some or the other members being online all the time some spam threads lie unreported for as long as 3 hours. We request all the members to kindly help us in keeping Boddunan spam free.

I have just logged in a few minutes ago. I find that normally there are five or six members logged in. I appreciate your gesture in taking appropriate action in the matter. I don't think that any member would have defaulted in reporting. Possibly, the porn thread would have been not noticed by any of the members who logged in during this period.

The spam posts are removed and the concerned member also banned. I have done this several times. But what really happens is that the moderators are not logged in all the time. Our active members are also hardly fifteen. They are busy in many activities like article writing/ reading, polls. They may not always be able to detect the spam post. But I am sure that if any member finds such post, he will definitely remove this. But even after reporting, a moderator must be on line for taking appropriate action. In absence of moderators, spam posts may remain on site for some time.

True! and so long as whoever members are logged in at that time show common sense of not replying to those posts and not clicking on any link in those posts, everything is fine! Such posts and threads are immediately removed when moderators are online.
