Safety tips for rainy season

Add this precaution though it's not related to food.. Because of wetness, Ways will be slippery. Walk slowly with short steps.
And one more . Drink lots of warming herbal teas, especially those with antibacterial properties such as holy basil leaves.

Keep your surroundings clean so that mosquitoes dont breed and transmit Malria and brain fever.. Use a mosquito repellant at home and also while going out..

When it comes to rainy season you must take precautions to protect yourself from mosquito borne diseases and also water borne diseases.
Use of mosquito repellents (Individual level)
Mosquito nets (Family level)
keep your surroundings free from stagnation (Community level).
Better to drink boiled water and avoid fast foods.

Watch out for open potholes on the road while it's raining, that can cause serious problems.

Main problem in rainy season is certain diseases like dengue,cholera,malaria etc get spread easily so one should have clenliness inside and outside his/her house to avoid such diseases. :blink:

I want to add one more tip here, that never eat food from outside stalls, there is always a probability of the foods being infested with flies in such season. Also some food could be stale leading to problems such as dysentery and vomiting etc.

Keep an umbrella with you whenever you go outside. Even if its bright and sunny day, make sure you have an umbrella to avoid rain water during rain :) Stay safe and enjoy the season :)

Children easily suffer from fever due to change in whether so one should pay more attention towards kids. :blink:
