Gender discrimination in bribe also

I believe it. Not only I, everybody knows about the corruption practices including gender bias in the Government hospitals except Lokayuktas. In fact Lokayuktas also know. But, they take action only on a complaint.

It is very common. It is source of earning of hospital staff. Some time they refuse to handover child without bribe or gift.

This is probably a system started by parents only. They showed their happiness/gratitude if it was a boy although it was not hospital staff's wrong or right doing. Once it came into practice the staff found another way to earn.

We are living in society. some time we have to follow traditions of society weather we likes these are not.

It really surprises me, What if a Girl or a Boy both are the gift of God. Dont know when this discrimination will end

Its an age old belief. Not so easy to get rid of this dreadful belief.
