That's true. As you suggested, if all of them are implemented especially the condition that candidates from national parties only should contest the parliamentary elections.

For example, In Indonesia, Sukarno had a coalition with Communists, which was actually a forced one. similarly, in China, there are a number of political parties with whom Communist Party of china shares power. But other parties have no option but to accept the lead.

There is need that the political parties in India work out common policies on basis of which they may give governance. We cannot think of a coalition between extreme left and extreme right. Just take example of NDA. Now BJP has only allies like Shiva Sena and Akali Dal who similarly mix religion with politics. The only other party that had different ideology namely JD-U had to quit because of divergence of policies and ideology. Atal Behari was one leader who had the tactics to carry all with him. A similarly strong but moderate leader may be able to give a lead.

There was a senior congress leader of AP who was opposing the formation of ‘Telengana state’ claiming that formation of ‘Telengana state’ is against his ideology . Very recently, when he was offered a minister’s post, he says now “ sometimes it becomes necessary to forego the ideologies for the sake of the nation.”
You can’t find the word ‘ideology’ in the lexicons of political chameleons. Just offer a post, all ideologies will go to the back seat.

There is still ideology left. You may see Mamata Banerjee led Trinmool, AIADMK of Jai Lalitha, Telugu Desham in NDA as well as UPA and may be in third front. But still there can be no likelihood of Mulayam singh (S.P.), Lalu Yadav (RJD) and the left parties aligning with BJP in NDA. If this is possible, I may agree with you.

You never know with Indian politicians, they may go to any distance to remain in power politics. I have seen as weird combinations as they come, these may not last long but trying to topple others they come together remember Charan Singh's fate, the only PM who never saw Red Fort?
