Such surveys are just a past time and nothing else. What has marriage got to do with money. Is there any option to exchange marriage with money? Rather is there a choice between marriage and money. clearly not. Hence such survey is devoid of any meaning and purpose.

One may live single, married or live in. But nobody can live without money. You need money irrespective of your marital status.
Money is different and married life is different. We cannot compare both. Both are important at one or the other view. Situation demands
I totally agree with this. A married man will certainly prefer to live with his partner than leave her for money. And if not married, I am sure, he/she will give more importance to tying the knot.
Life is always beautiful in each and every aspect. It all depends on how we react on it. And off course Married life is always happy. Because there will be always some one who thinks of us, cares for us and who loves us a lot for ever
Marriage and Money, two different thing, can't compare !
Life is always interconnected - like marriage, money, religious bekleifs and having children are all part of one's life. There are people who prefer making money rather than get married and some prefer to follow their religious beliefs rather than getting married and the survey is all about how many prefer being married and find happiness in marriage which is perefctly fine...

Well said Gulshan sir, I totally agree with you as without money nothing can be done there are cases where if husband is not earning marriage never works....

Not all married people are happy, in fact more than 50% of the marriages are failures, may not actually end in a divorce but they are unhappy and an unfair compromise...but inspite of this people here have felt that marriage is a happier option, thats what is surprising !

Yes married life give us happyness. Married relation is best one and last long. Unmarried people don't know about the importance of married life.

Married life is normal and most are happy with this. But this is not the only source of happiness. It is also incorrect to say that unmarried do not know importance of married life. everyone knows importance of different aspects of life and alternative ways. This is a matter of individual choice and there are many ways to be happy. Also, it can't be said that marriage by itself gives happiness. For many, married life is a curse rather than boon. Happiness depends on compatibility and mutual understanding among couples.
Marriage is not the only source of happiness. For some happiness lies in doing a job that’s close to their hearts. For some happiness lies in helping others. Ir varies from person to person.
There is a proverb Grass is always greener on the other side, we tend to think that whaat we dont have might be more appealing and attractive ! I have heard scores of couple sating that they should never have got married, it would have been fun if they had remained single. Similarly people who have remained single out of choice or otherwise feel that they might have missed out on something, so thgere is no perfect situation in life !
Happiness is a state of mind. For some marriage is a burden. For some it’s a belief that marriage is mandatory. I know many instances in my own family circle an elder brother or sister making way to the younger ones for marriage, though the custom says elder should marry first . It all amounts to the fact, things appear, as we like to see them.

Bill Gates, Rehman to name a few found happiness in doing the jobs of their liking.

It is possible to balance a career and a marriage ...There are many top level executives who have transferable jobs but manage to have a good marriage.Probably staying apart helps since they are not at each others throat all the time and when they meet after a gap of time they are able to appreciate each other better and spend quality time instead of bickering..
Not necessarily. If I am right, it was George Bernard Shaw who has written somewhere, ' If you want to be happy, be.'
Shaw is right. Being happy depends on you no matter you are married or unmarried, wealthy or a pauper.
This is just a survey I don't think most of the people would agree with this.

Nothing is perfect. if unmarried life have some problems than married life also have some problems. But over all married life is better than unmarried life.

Life is filled with problems its our skill how we solve problems or live with the problems. Its not that marriage makes people happier people who are not married sometimes are more happier than the married people. I know few of my friends who are unmarried and envy for being so free from the responsibilities.

There is no perefect solution in life as we all know, but by and far married people are happier than unmarried people and one of the reasons might be because they have life long companionship and a family consisting of spouse and children to care and be part of their life ..
