The jail officials should not permit this. He might be a filmstar but according to law every convict should be given the same treatment.

Actually TADA court has allowed Sanjay Dutt medicines and food from home for a month. The jail authorities are opposing this.

I am totally against this. He may be an actor. But this is totally unfair that TADA allows food and medicines from home. The convincing thing is that the jail authorities are against this.

TADA Jail authorities are right. Once an individual is in Jail, he's a criminal. Celebrity status has to stop at the entrance of the jail. Sanjay dutt has to be treated in par with the other criminals lock stock and barrel.

If they found Sanjay Dutt guilty then why they are allowing him the home prepared food. If that so, why they have put him in Jail, leave him and let him go! All the individual in Jail should be treated equally. This is not fair to those other people who are in same jail eating jail food. Why this injustice, no one can answer!

TADA jail authorities say there is a provision for allowing home cooked food for under trials only on medical grounds. Hence its not applicable to Sanjay dutt.

Jail authorities do not allow him home food. This was allowed by TADA court. Jail authorities oppose this. So where is question of bribe to jail authorities?

TADA court allowed only for one month in view of health condition. But the jail authorities consider this against rules and are opposing. There is already rule that if a convict's health is suffering, jail authorities will give him medical treatment. This is really no issue. One month period is not much and after that he cannot be given home food.

actually, he was getting home food while in Bombay Arthur court jail as ordered by court. This was for one month only. But now he is hifted to Pune and so must be getting food in jail only. Now he is also given some work regarding newspapers.

Hmm.. I didn't know about that. In that case one month is okay, it should not be problem.

Sir it is very said to here this sort of news but after all he is a celebrity and there should be some special benefits for him and his sister is also a politician....the rule are only to be followed by the common people like us.....

I think law should be equal for all people. If he enjoyed home food for a month, it's past and let's forget it. But he has just started his sentence and has a long way to go. Allowing home for all through won't create a good impression.
