The trans border rivers unite and not divide

many agreements have been made with China for better relation. China has said that they would do nothing that may harm India. The rivers common to both countries unite and not divide.

If these are honest realizations on the part of the highest Chinese leadership, then it's a good and positive development but China must walk the talk. The incident which preceded the visit of the new Chinese Premier is an instance of grave provocation and we can't afford to be lax in our preparedness to meet any eventuality..

I somehow have my own doubts altough it is practical and wise to do so. Once we come to an underastanding about river water sharing both the countries will have to stick by it ! India will probably bend backwards to plaese China but China can never be trusted going by their past records ..

Its good news to hear at this point of time. But we have wait for sometime to realize if there is any truth in it.

Today I read in the paper a statement given by Chen Guangcheng who is a blind activist , was kept under house arrest in Beijing and managed to escape - He warns and tells India not to trust China !

Exactly ! Also someone who has been fighting for rights and has been in the forefront, targetted by the governement, which makes him aware of all the inside dealings of the Chinese government...
