It is okay to express your honest opinion on all matters. Right of expression is certainly not a license to insult and abuse. A lady who wrote insulting remarks in Facebook learnt this a hard way.

People should learn from this incident that they should draw a line between expression and abuse.
There exists an unwritten law that says 'while online, consider yourself as if you are sitting among your real friends because you are being watched by hundreds and thousands of people who may not like your rude ways'

Freedom of expression doesn't mean trampling other's rights. Glad the activist had a befitting lesson.

Although we expect some exceptions always there but those are comparatively too few to make any difference.
While insults or abuses stand at an altogether different plane, irony is a very familiar and favorite form of literary expressions for many and it has nothing to do with insult or abuse. For example the expression ' Mercy Killing' has an ironic ring around it!!!

In the month of January, this year, centre issued advisory to all states and UTs asking them not to arrest a person in such cases without prior approval of a senior police officer. And AP government ignored it.
This is what one should learn from the incident writing some thing absurd or abusing someone on the social site is a crime and one should refrain from it.

Its a fact that we are watched on the social sites too specially when we comment for a celeb. Moreover we have no rights to write something about someone which may be insulting for the person.
