I have shifted to Delhi 3 months ago and the temperature has reached 43 degrees here. It is almost impossible to go out during noon. Those staying in North India and in Delhi, how do you deal with the excessive heat?

Lol.. Here also there is no problem of electricity( well can be worse any time so no need praise it more :D) but still we never used AC so far. I guess we just became used to of this temp. But can't be sure about next days as temp is look like raising...

Yesterday saw the news that there was rain in some of cities. Well in that case temperature may come down.

Well, where were the rains. I must say that was indeed a lucky place. We need rains here desperately. It will being the temp. down and will help all.

WEll, its still no season of rain yet, so it can make negative effects on some fields.

I don't know the place, but I have read in the news and even yesterday night at my place there was very fast and cold breeze at night, may be effect of rain in some area.
But from last two days the temperature of Delhi is OK don't know what's going to happen in few days as there is forecast that the temperature will go up to 46 degrees in few days here.

 Even I have heard that.

But I don't think it will going to be true. As there is raining in some areas and snow fall happen in some mountain areas I guess temperature will goes down.

Also I have seen most of the time it happens totally reverse than what those weather experts says.

Actually we are expecting sandstorms from Rajasthan coming toward our area that is going to disturb life more than heat. We may have some showers later which may keep temperature around 40. No heat strokes yet.
Thankfully since yesterday we have had some very welcome pre monsoon showers, not much but enough to bring down the temperature a couple of degrees which makes a huge difference ! But after that the temperature is bound to go up even more ....
Light Shower, Most welcome, I want rain pouring down around 2 hours without any interrupt. Loving it right now. Thanks God, temperature down a little bit, coolness in air, most waited shower.

Intermittent drizzling, Cloudy all day. Total effect is a pleasant day.
Currently we are not facing any bad weather conditions in our area and everything is in normal range, the forecast for a light shower is welcome but it may up humidity levels higher.
Yesterday in Mangalore we had a very hot day at 36 degrees and with the added humidity it was exhausting so 43 degrees is too much for me to imagine....

Being a sea side place, we too face the same humidity problem. Now you can imagine the plight of the people who face 45 degrees plus humidity.

Every side have some problem. You are living is sea side so you have problem of humidity and I am living in dry area so I have problem of burning. The only solution to this problem is bear it.

Yes, you are right. Its better to bear those conditions which are not in our control.

43 degree is too much for Delhi. Pollution problem of Delhi make it more serious. Avoid to go outside in afternoon. Drink enough water and other natural cold drinks.

Pollution of course is one of the reasons. But less greenery here in Delhi is also the cause. High buildings and more population and traffic is also the reason of being so much temperature here in Delhi. :)
Here in tamilnadu we are just enjoying the climate because of rain in the past couple of days and the atmoshere is too cool..Sad to hear about the temperature in the northern side.
It will be within 30s soon but humidity would still be killing. North is always like that- above hot and below cold.

We are doing all sorts of pollution, Industrial pollution, automobile emissions are the main culprits. In the name of development we are destroying the forests. And these are the reasons for floods, droughts, cyclones, Tsunamis and tornadoes.
