China has built some posts in territory considered as Indian. Is this a small affair. Really this is so if we believe in our Honorable minister. This is just a matter of perception. The Chinese believe they are in their territory. So why make mountain out of mole hill?

Everyone is going to put their foot forward. We say it's our territory and they say its their's. It is the quesiton of believing in the governments of the respective countries.

Then who is raising this hue and cry? Opposition or press? I'm confused seeing the news in news papers.

I guess it is the blame game. India is blaming China and so is what China doing. But yes, the press has an equal part to play along with the opposition (oh have I included everyone there...oops ;) )

They also hang banners that you are in China. Indeed Indian government is not serious about this matter.
This is of course serious how can someone intrude in the country and build post there. What will happen if we do this in Pakistan?.

Are we heading towards World war III?.
Quite serious! The Chinese should never be trusted as their past record of treachery would teach us. Then the multi-crore question is who is open to teachings of history. Now, we have one of the weakest and most morally depraved governments in power headed by Manmohan Singh whose interest does not go beyond protecting the interest of the Gandhi family. Coming to the finer prints of Sino-Indian relationship which can't afford to ignore the baggage of history of 1962 war. Nehru was trapped by the Chinese leadership and the Himalayan blunder he committed by believing and trusting Cho-En-Lai and proved catastrophic for India and Nehru as well. He died as a shattered man. The same thing is happening in the 50th year of Chinese invasion of India. I stand and accuse the present Government of India of deliberately misleading the patriotic people of India of the true implications of the latest Chinese aggression. No one respects a coward and the Chinese government has only pity and contempt for the Government led by a spineless person like Manmohan Singh. The people of India are brave but they are led by cowards. Let us not forget that a country as small as Vietnam taught Uncle Sam a terrible lesson and it did so to China also!!!

The statement by R.P.N Singh about the Chinese incursions as“ a matter of perception” is a glowing example of, ‘Ostrich mentality’.We have an inherent quality of, ‘Not learning the lessons.’ Indo –china war was a classic example of ‘Back stabbing’ by China. Nehru was deceived by the, Panchsheel agreement. Chou-en- Lai ditched India and thrown away the Panchsheel agreement in to the garbage can.
Like a tiger that tasted the blood, China wants to repeat its action of ‘expansionism’ on the unsuspecting India.
Let Mr. Singh flip through the pages of history and know the heavy losses of men and the big chunks of Indian territory.

I am sure the Chinese hegemonistic ambitions would be challenged at some point or other down the line in a matter of a decade. If one cares to look at how America conducts its statecraft in relation to its neighbors, the sharp contradictions come through so loud and clear. The element of terror which is the cornerstone of Chinese foreign policy would meet stiff resistance from all its neighbors today, tomorrow or thereafter. Happily for us history does not record consistent success of a rule or ruler relying on terror alone. Once you call off their bluffs you get to see their pitiable state. And China too is going to meet this historical fate!!!

You are right they are increasing there strength. Now they have five camp there. In coming it may be 50 and than 500. Again India is proving that it is soft state. Ruling party and opposition are fighting for power and there China is enjoying it.
It is unbelievably careless, unrealistic and irresponsible attitude on the part of our government. If we cannot even protest and take a proper action in matters like these, we would better do without a government.

How about ousting this faceless PM before ousting the Chinese occupiers!!

Yes they have agreed to withdraw their troops but it is still not clear under what circumstances did they made this move.

The official narrative from the Indian side merely said, the two sides have agreed to withdraw to their previous positions. It offers no explanation for what persuaded the Chinese to yield ground. since the Chinese all along denied that they had crossed the actual line of control.. Government should come up with the facts and reveal the realty. If it fails it can never win the confidence of the people.

I have my own doubts whether we will ever get to hear what exactly happened, especially from this present government which is constantly playing Cloak and dagger games with the citizens ...
